Prospect Terrace Fire Co. NY - A little history about our department. We are a small department in Binghamton NY, in Broome County. We cover aprox 5.2 square miles of the Town Of Dickinson. The Department sits between 2 of the 3 paid departments in our county. Our Department was formed in the early 1900's with approximately 35 members, but was disbanded due to the draft for World war II, soon after the war ended, the Department was reformed again and has been active since. Our Apparatus consists of a 34 yr old sutphen 65ft ladder, Squad, Mini pumper and Brush truck. We are in the process of adding the 4th addition to our facility thanks to grant funding, this will give us more space and a stair tower for training. Although membership has fluctuated throughout the years we strive to continue to serve our community.
